Having said that I am listening to Melody Gardot as I type and would like some of her music on my iRiver. I have pondered pirating it but have decided that I will either download and pay or buy a CD. My reasoning is this. If I had a product and people could just steal it would I bother producing any more? Probably not. The time, effort, frustrations and creativity of artists requires reward otherwise we are in danger of killing off creativity. Even musicians have families and mortgages to pay.
